Luke Mathews, owner/operator of Tender Loving Pet Grooming LLC has been in the pet industry for over 10 years. Luke, along with long time friend Timothy Brendel, got their start in the industry with Barbara Batey, Master Groomer, at Dr. MIchael Good's Town & Country Veterinarian Clinic in Marietta, as kennel technicians in 2002. LIttle did Mr. Mathews know that the end result would be Tender Loving Pet Grooming.
In 2004 Timothy L. Brendel had a dream to open his own grooming facility and enlisted the help of Luke. Together they built a thriving business and in 2007 Luke became the new owner of Tender Loving Pet Grooming. Since the transition, TLPG has seen 2 locations and is now resting at 200 Buchanan Street in Dallas.
When you enter the new facility, you walk into a spacious lobby with comfortable bench seating, TV, customer refreshment area, a pet information center and a multitude of pet products. You will always be greeted with a smile from the professional and knowledgable staff.
The new location boasts a full service grooming salon featuring a bathing room, drying room, grooming suite and a Pet Lounge complete with movies for entertainment.
Boarding and Pet Daycare have also taken on a new look. The Pet Hotel side of TLPG contains 3 Deluxe Themed Suites, approximately 7' x 10', including The Disney Suite, Jungle Suite & Ocean Suite. Each suite has a TV with VCR/DVD player for movie time, a custom bed, linen service daily, and much more. There are also Open Air Condos that feature TV and music.
And let us not forget the Garden Room! This is a special 'suite' with a beautifully decorated garden theme made specifically for feline boarding! Tender Loving Pet Grooming is one of the few boarding & daycare facilities in the area that actually boards cats.
Moving into the new year, TLPG will become Tender Loving Pet Grooming LLC . Everyone is excited to welcome in 2012 with positive changes on the horizon, new and innovative ideas, and we definitely are looking forward to a prosperous and wonderful new year.
